These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RosterLedger (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What RosterLedger is
RosterLedger is software that helps volunteer treasurers of youth-sports teams build a budget, track contributions and expenses, manage receipts, and produce reports. It is a bookkeeping and organization tool. It is not accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for a professional accountant.
2. Your account
You sign in with your email address using a secure one-time link. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least the age of majority in your province or state to create an account.
3. Your responsibilities
- You confirm that you are authorized by your team and/or its association to enter and manage the information you provide, including the names and contact details of other people and of minors on your roster.
- You agree to enter accurate information and to use the Service only for its intended purpose of managing your team's finances.
- You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to access other teams' data, disrupt the Service, or use it to break any law.
4. Subscriptions and payment
- RosterLedger is offered on a per-team, per-season basis. Current pricing is shown on our website.
- New teams may start with a free trial. After the trial, continued access requires an active subscription.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize the applicable charge.
- You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.
5. Your data and ownership
Your team's data belongs to you (and your team/association). We process it to provide the Service and in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You may export or permanently delete your data at any time from the Settings page. You grant us the limited rights necessary to store and process your data solely to operate the Service for you.
6. Service availability
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time.
7. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RosterLedger disclaims all warranties, express or implied. You are responsible for the accuracy of your records and for any decisions you make based on them. RosterLedger does not guarantee that the Service will meet every regulatory or association requirement that applies to your team.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RosterLedger will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your team at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
